Blue View sits above Playa Forti in Westpunt, with a wooden terrace perched high enough that you can watch the turtles swimming in the water below. It’s a favorite stop of ours when we’re out West particularly later in the afternoon, when there’s nowhere to hide from the fact that you should probably order another drink and wait for the sunset.
The food feels very Westpunt too. Fresh fish sits alongside Curaçao dishes like goat stew and barbecued iguana, with simpler choices if you’re just coming up from the beach for lunch. Nothing here needs dressing up. The view, the local food, and that little terrace above the sea are the reason to come.
