The atmosphere is crisp and well kept, but still personal and relaxed. With only 20 accommodations across the property, it feels more like a comfortable home base than a large resort. The two bedroom apartments have spacious living areas, open kitchens and private verandas, while the one bedroom lodges work well for couples and include kitchens with an oven, induction cooktop and full sized refrigerator. There are two swimming pools, a casual poolside bar and plenty of space to slow down between outings. The central location makes this a practical base for exploring the island by car, with the airport, Willemstad and several beaches all within an easy drive. ACOYA Resort, Villas & Spa is set around a large swimming pool and a small natural lake, a short drive from Mambo Beach. Rooms and suites offer different views, including gardens and the ocean, so it’s worth comparing the categories before booking. The main resort welcomes families, while Il Mare is a separate Preferred Club section for adults, with beachfront bungalows, an infinity pool, a restaurant and a pool bar. Kunuku Aqua Resort is one of the largest resorts of Curacao, with an extensive range of facilities and attractions for all ages. The spacious 4-star all-inclusive concept resort is centrally located on the island, a 10-minute drive from the airport, and close to the most beautiful beaches. The resort has hotel rooms, studios, and apartments.

Lagun Blou Resort

These four villas on the cliffs of Play Lagun have spectacular views with amazing sunsets. Playa Lagun is a favorite of ours for snorkeling. The Villas are a bit out-dated and luckily a new owner has just taken over with plans to give them the needed work soon. You need a car, as this is a remote area, though close to many of the best West Point beaches.

Lions Dive Beach Resort

This is one of the best-known resorts on the island, on a prime white sand beach with calm, shallow water, four restaurants, a fitness center, dive center, boat trips, and a spa. There is a wide selection of bright, modern rooms, apartments, suites, and a penthouse – with full amenities and services available. Lots to do for all ages – and don’t forget a swim with the dolphins.

Livingstone Jan Thiel Resort

This large resort has a wide span of colorful villas, apartments, and hotel rooms grouped around a common area of a large pool and gardens. Jan Thiel Beach, a shopping market, and some restaurants are within walking distance. Don’s restaurant, overlooking the pool, is well liked.

Morena Eco Resort

The sprawling eco-resort has walkways leading past many pools to accommodations ranging from one-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom villas designed for up to eight guests, all outfitted with elegant practicality. There is an adult aesthetic throughout, though children are welcome. Fuego and Mocca restaurants are on the premises – and it’s a five-minute walk to Jan Thiel Beach.

Palapa Beach Resort & Marina

It’s located in Jan Thiel, right on the water, in the small gated community of Palapa Beach. The resort has 46 apartments in various sizes, all equipped with kitchen units. Fun location. Spectacular views. The beach is a bit rough. Rooms are spacious yet basic. Can be great for travelers or families that rent a car and want a base to explore the area and beyond.

Rancho El Sobrino

14 studio apartments nestled around a pool in Bandabou, 40 minutes from Willemstad, but very close to all the popular West Point beaches. Rooms are simple - basic - cheery - each with a kitchenette. Works well for travelers who are spending their days exploring, diving, snorkeling, hiking, biking, and feel that a room is just for cooking and sleeping in. Cactus Café is right there.

Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort

Right in the heart of Willemstad, the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort blends city buzz with island relaxation. It has a unique infinity beach with soft sand and a saltwater pool that feels like it spills into the Caribbean, plus plenty of spots for dining, cocktails, and even a lively casino. Steps from colorful shops and the famous Queen Emma Bridge, it’s a fun pick if you want both comfort and easy access to Curaçao’s historic charm.

Royal Sea Aquarium Resort

This holiday destination has so much to offer especially for families. First, it’s on an island joined by a walking bridge to the famous Mambo Beach. The resort is home to the Dolphin Academy and Aquarium, and has sand beaches, world-class diving, restaurants, bars, duty-free shopping, water sports, gorgeous turquoise water and golden sunsets, and is a five-minute drive to the city center.

The Kontiki Beach Resort

This resort has a truly exotic vibe, with thatched roofs, beautiful wood construction, densely manicured tropical foliage, lagoons, pools and direct access to the ever-popular Mood and Cabana beach. Note, we do know the beach parties rock until Midnight on weekends.

The Reef - Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort

Located in the popular Blue Bay beach community, there are four choices of accommodation, each offering a slightly different experience: The Shore, The Garden, Greenview and The Ridge. Within those you will find apartments, condos, luxury villas. Everything is close to the beach, pools, five restaurants and the golf course. Great for higher-budget clientele. Best to rent a car to visit the West Point beaches and town.

Thuishaven Boutique Resort

Super fun, eclectic, bohemian, artsy, joyful. It’s cozy and private with only five suites, and it attracts many longer-stay travelers and return customers. Kitchens in most apartments. Owners are hands-on, helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Located in Grote Berg, it is in a residential area, so you’ll need a rental car.

Zoetry Curaçao Resort & Spa

Tucked away in the lush greenery of Piscadera Bay, Zoetry is a boutique, all-inclusive resort that leans into the quiet side of Curaçao. It’s the kind of place where everything feels calm think tropical gardens, spacious suites, and a laid-back, wellness-focused vibe. Guests get access to the beach at nearby Dreams Curaçao, but the real charm here is the slower pace: yoga in the morning, a good book by the pool, and thoughtful touches like farm-to-table dining and spa treatments.
