Christoffel National Park (Guided & Self-Guided)
Curaçao’s largest national park is home to its highest peak, Mount Christoffel, with hiking trails that take you through the island’s rugged countryside. The summit climb is the big workout, rewarded with views across the surrounding hills and coastline. Start early while it’s cooler: climbs can begin at 6 AM, with the last permitted start at 10 AM because of the heat.
You can explore independently or book a guided hike for a closer look at the park’s plants, wildlife and history. There are other walking routes if the summit isn’t on your list, plus guided birdwatching tours. Leave time for Savonet Museum, housed in the restored plantation house, to learn about the people and history behind the landscape.
