Captain's Sports Bar & Grill

Open every night from 3 PM to midnight, this laid-back hotspot blends sports, music, games, and great food into a chill evening. The week kicks off with chill Monday and Tuesday nights, perfect for catching live sports on big screens while enjoying ice-cold beers and comfort food off the grill. By Wednesday, things start heating up with friendly darts and pool competitions, drawing a mix of locals and visitors ready to play and mingle. Club LIV is a vibrant nightlife hotspot located in Willemstad, known for its energetic atmosphere, themed party nights, and a dynamic mix of music including hip-hop, reggaeton, Afrobeat, and dancehall. La Coco Jamboo República

This new bar is exactly what Otrobanda needed right now something fun, frolicky, free-wheeling, and fanciful. With its refurbished historic walls and flooring, paired with the eclectic interior design of owner-operator Michèl, this venue is sure to grow and thrive as the area does. Breedestraat was once the heart of the island’s restaurant and nightlife scene, and it's definitely making a comeback. La Coco Jamboo is deceptively large but cleverly divided into sections, allowing it to feel intimate or expand into a big dance floor. We at Otra Guide love this place and it’s only just getting started.

Madero Ocean Club

Tap Maar In

This is one of our favorite spots on the Island. It is such a cozy, fun, warm local bar, that embraces travelers and locals alike. Especially on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, which are Karaoke nights. You don’t have to sing to have a great time here, but if you do want to get up and do a song or two, the entire crowd will back you all the way. Everyone is here to have fun. The owner Nina may just win the prize for being the nicest person in the world. She has been running it since 1984 and knows every regular and what they drink by name. She serves a small menu of bar food with a big warm smile. Big parking lot right out front. The entire Otra team is here a lot, singing our hearts out.

Zanzibar

Zanzibar at Jan Thiel Beach is a relaxed, beachside hangout that comes to life in the evenings. offering a mix of beach vibes and live music. On Wednesdays, the atmosphere is relaxed with acoustic “Unplugged” sessions from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, ideal for a mellow night by the sea. Fridays feature live reggae or local bands, creating a laid-back but lively crowd. Saturdays are the most energetic, starting with Happy Hour from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, followed by live music until around 9:00 PM. Whether you're looking to dance in the sand or unwind with a cocktail, Zanzibar is a great choice for a memorable night out.
