How to Turn on the BBQ Open the Lid Completely - Never light the BBQ with the lid closed. This can cause a gas buildup and dangerous flare-up. 1. Check the Gas Tank • Make sure the propane tank is connected tightly. • Turn the valve on the tank counterclockwise to open the gas flow fully. 2. Ignite the Grill • Turn the first burner knob to the “Ignite” or “High” position (you should hear gas flowing). • Immediately press the igniter button (click-click-click) until the burner lights. 3. Light Additional Burners • After the first burner is lit, turn on any additional burners you’d like to use. • They will usually ignite from the first flame. If the igniter doesn’t work, don’t worry, it’s common. You can light the BBQ manually using a grill lighter or long match. Manual Lighting Instructions: 1. Open the lid and turn on the gas at the propane tank. 2. Insert a long BBQ lighter or match through the lighting hole (usually on the side or bottom panel). 3. With the flame near the burner, slowly turn the burner knob to “High.” 4. The burner should ignite immediately. 5. Once the first burner is lit, turn on the others as needed. ***Important: If the burner doesn't light within 5 seconds, turn off the gas immediately, wait 1 minute to let gas clear, then try again. Safety Tips • Never leave the BBQ unattended while in use. • Keep children away while cooking. The BBQ, inside and out, are extremely hot • After use, turn off all burner knobs and close the propane tank valve completely. Push each burner control knob in and then turn clockwise all the way to the off position. • Let the grill cool down before touching it
