A Roma sits right along the inner waters between Pietermaai and Punda, in a spot that feels a little removed from the streets around it. There are tables inside, but we prefer the ones outdoors especially the few right along the water, where dinner comes with the lights of the city reflecting back at you.
The menu is Italian and keeps plenty of the classics in the mix, with pizzas, pastas, and other familiar dishes. The space works surprisingly well for different kinds of evenings too. Take one of the smaller waterfront tables for dinner for two, or bring a group there’s plenty of room without losing the nice setting that makes A Roma worth knowing.
