Zest Restaurant & Beach Cafe
This Restaurant bar is positioned strategically at the main corner of the Papagayo Beach Club structure, with its patio open wide to the sea, and its sister beach bar on the sand beyond. It's hard not to notice it as you walk by. It somehow has a Scandinavian precision to its tawny Bauhaus wooden chairs and perfectly set tables.
The food too has a precision and order not prevalent on the Island, and especially at a beachfront venue, but perhaps this higher-end choice is a nice change of pace. The main Restaurant has a Mediterranean/Caribbean fusion menu, of popular high-end meals, whereas the beach bar has more comfort food. Both sections are popular and well-serviced by knowledgeable staff and management. 'Location, Location', as they say.
