Donkey’s Beach

A long, narrow stretch of sand and coral rubble just south of Kralendijk, Donkey Beach is easy to reach and popular with both locals and visitors. The beach sits right alongside the road, with shallow turquoise water just a few steps away. Snorkelers will find coral heads and reef fish close to shore, while sunbathers can settle in under the occasional shade tree. It’s a relaxed spot to spend an hour or two, especially if you catch one of Bonaire’s food trucks parked nearby.
