Salt Pier Beach

One of Bonaire’s most iconic dive and snorkel sites, Salt Pier combines industrial drama with vibrant marine life. Massive steel pillars rise from the water, supporting the conveyor system that loads salt onto ships – and below the surface, those same pillars are draped in corals and sponges, teeming with schools of fish. Divers often spot tarpon, barracuda, and turtles weaving through the shadows. Above water, the backdrop of salt mountains and flamingos makes it just as striking. Swimming is only permitted when there’s no ship docked, and the site is part of the marine park, so your STINAPA tag is required.
