05. Credit Cards and Debit Cards
Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in Bonaire, especially in hotels, restaurants, shops, and car rental agencies. Visa and MasterCard are the most commonly accepted, while American Express may be less widely accepted. It’s a good idea to carry some cash in US dollars for small purchases or in more remote areas where card facilities might be limited.
