14. The Arrivals Hall
Aruba's arrivals hall is bright, modern, and welcoming—setting the perfect tone for your island adventure. The recently renovated space features a beautiful terrazzo floor and feels wonderfully open and airy. If someone's picking you up, they'll easily spot you as you emerge into the main hall.
Once you've collected your bags and cleared customs, you'll find everything you need right there. There are ATMs if you need cash, the Mello Bar if you're craving a quick drink or snack, and often vendors selling local SIM cards. The car rental counters are just outside to the right, and the taxi stand is straight ahead as you exit—everything's clearly marked and easy to navigate.
The whole airport operates with that laid-back Aruba efficiency—nothing feels rushed or chaotic, even during busy times. It's one of the easiest Caribbean airports to navigate, especially for first-time visitors.
