Just offshore at Playa Kalki, divers can visit the Underwater Chichi® a concrete sculpture placed on the Alice in Wonderland Reef as a memorial to Serena Israel’s late husband, Michael Anthony. The piece sits in a calm, colorful section of the reef and has become a unique stop for divers exploring the northwestern tip of the island. Created in collaboration with Go West Diving Curaçao, the installation was designed and submerged in 2020 with full environmental consideration to ensure it fits naturally within the marine setting.
