Hofi Mango Zipline
This is a must-see experience to add to your agenda when visiting Curaçao and if you live here and haven’t been yet, what are you waiting for? You’ll find this beautiful nature park along the drive to or from Westpunt. Step through the golden gates and into a lush landscape filled with legendary 300-year-old mango trees, vibrant wildlife, and peaceful walking trails. It’s a place where nature, history, art, and adventure come together and the adventure side truly comes alive with the zipline.
Set above the grounds, the zipline gives you a sweeping perspective over the park’s canopy, old mango trees, and open landscape. It adds a rush of movement to what is otherwise a calm, reflective setting. One moment you’re walking shaded trails past historic ruins, the next you’re gliding above it all. It’s a nice balance for those who want both serenity and a little adrenaline in the same visit.
As you explore, you’ll still come across the historic sugar mill and distillery now a protected monument – telling the story of Curaçao’s early rum production. And don’t miss the stone steps leading to the plateau where Giovanni Abath’s sculpture frames Mount Christoffel. But if you’re the kind of traveler who likes to mix nature with a bit of thrill, the zipline is what sets this experience apart.
Also worth noting: Hófi Mango is home to one of the best restaurants on the island, Kultura Kòrsou, run by acclaimed chef Willy Balentina. Planning a meal there after your zipline run makes for a full, well-rounded day. And even though this is a nature park, much of it has been made wheelchair accessible.
