Tucked into one of the colorful laneways of Kurá Hulanda Village, Zarja Architecture is a local architecture studio working on projects across Curaçao. Founder Zarja and her team work on everything from modern homes and commercial spaces to restoration, sustainable design, and larger urban projects.
There’s a young, creative energy to the studio, but also a real appreciation for Curaçao’s architecture and history. Their approach mixes contemporary ideas and new technology with thoughtful design that makes sense for the island. It’s interesting to know that some of the buildings and spaces you see around Curaçao have been shaped right here from their studio in The Village.
