Fratè means “brother,” and the name comes from the 35-year friendship behind the restaurant. This is the owners’ fourth restaurant together, set in a large terracotta-colored building on Caracasbaaiweg with a polished dining room and an open-air terrace that comes alive after dark.
The menu moves between Italian classics and the grill: pasta finished in a Parmesan cheese wheel, Caribbean lobster linguini and prime steaks. It feels dressed up enough for a proper dinner, but the terrace keeps the evening social and relaxed.
