Right in the heart of Punda, Mikvé Israel-Emanuel was consecrated in 1732 and is the oldest synagogue in continuous use in the Americas. Step inside and one of the first things you’ll notice is the sand-covered floor, along with beautiful mahogany furniture and chandeliers that reflect centuries of Jewish history on the island.
