At Kas di Pal’i Maishi, a traditional adobe house tells the story of rural Afro-Curaçaoan life. The small museum focuses on everyday living, with household objects that help you picture how people cooked, worked and made a home.
The building is part of the story too, preserving construction traditions with roots in the arrival of enslaved Africans. There’s also local food served in the backyard at lunchtime, so a visit can include a meal as well as a look around.
