Gomezplein is a small square right in the heart of Punda, surrounded by some of Willemstad’s beautiful historic architecture. With cafés and terraces around the square, it’s a nice place to grab a coffee or something to eat and watch Punda move around you.
It’s also a good starting point for exploring downtown, with the Handelskade, Queen Emma Bridge, shops, galleries, and other Punda highlights all within an easy walk. During events and Punda Vibes, the square regularly becomes part of the action with live music and activity spilling into the surrounding streets.
