Wintertuin Curaçao starts its festival program with a writing masterclass led by Spanish author Javier Sagarna, director of Escuela de Escritores. He’ll talk through the creative process behind his novels and short stories, then turn some of those techniques into writing exercises for the group.
Selected excerpts from his work become the starting point for participants to try things themselves, with time at the end for questions and conversation. A good one for writers who want to get beyond theory and actually put something on the page.
